Choosing a tree or shrub for your garden can be daunting. It is both a major investment of money but more so of time. We hope that we are not only planting for our future but for future generations as well. It is devastating when our choice of tree or shrub does not meet our expectations in the end.
There is an overwhelming number of plant options available on the market. With so many alternatives, it can be a challenge to make the best possible selection for your unique situation. Each one of those plants has its own characteristics that make it special. Some plants rise above the fray in ways you might not have realized.
Robert Whitman, a senior landscape architect at the architecture firm of Gould Evans in Kansas City is going to present us with, “25 Amazing Trees & Shrubs for Kansas City.”
The March 16, 2019 program, part of of the Gardeners Connect Free Speaker Series, will be held at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, 4750 Troost, Kansas City, MO 64110 beginning at 10:30 a.m.
